There's no apparent DOF in this picture. It also reminds me of just a snapshot.

this is very much just a snapshot, the composition is boring and the people in the backgound distracting. This also looks like you used the camera flash which is making the subject very flat

This picture would be much more flattering with softer light, away from the camera lens.

A very nice portrait bt the background is so dark I can't tell if it is dof or just shadows. Otherwise, lovely.

DOF in this isn't that shallow - you've got good focus from the tip of the nose to the back of the ears.

Not enough depth of field for me. Also it could have been a little more interesting if you did something different with the lighting
