Doesn't really do anything with shallow DOF as far as I can see.

I know you'll hear this a lot, but I figured since I'm an early voter I'd go ahead and say it-- the subject fills the frame so completely, and so much of it is in focus, that there's very little sense of shallow dof here. (I like the light though.)
