Your image size is too small - it is hard for me to judge it because it is hard to see the details or identify exactly what your photo is. A good guide is to have the long dimension 640 pixels.

Composition leaves something to be desired...camera looks low end...but keep trying - 3

You should really consider using the largest dimension allowed for challenges. Such a small photo is difficult to appreciate at uts fullest.

I'm not going to state the obvious. Rather, I will say that the DOF isn't very apparent. I think lightening up the background may have helped.

I almost hate to say it because I'm sure many have... too small to properly evaluate.

Waay too small.

I'm sorry, but this image is too small for me to really rate it properly. Please try to submit photos that are 640 pixels on the long edge.

Looks like it may have good shallow DOF, but hard to tell with the photo being so small. You should try to make the challenge entries as close to the largest allowable size. "File Size: No larger than 150 KB (153,600 bytes).
Dimension: No dimension may be shorter than 160 pixels or longer than 640 pixels. " Small photos tend to get low scores, try again with a photo closer to the above dimension and you will do much better.

Sorry, way too small. Hard to see.

This is a little small...can't really make out what it is.

Picture isn't large enough to cast any kind of vote. 1

too small

It's so small I can't get it. Clearly it is focused fairly well and DOF is shallow but hey, size DOES matter.

2 - Difficult to tell about the potential, but seems to be there. Criticism; needs to be bigger, preferably 640, in this case width. Perhaps a different crop/angle too may have also helped.
