Thanks, all. Yep, I agree, this shot should have been centered. :-) Unfortunately, this shot wasn't high res enough and ended up being exactly 640x480...no room for cropping. I still liked the shot and the contrast between the energy in the background and the 'resters' in the foreground to submit it. You were *supposed* to wonder what everyone was looking at (buskers) that these too decided to just sit out on. <grin>

good shot, nice symmetry...though you could've centered it better.

I like how the chaos of the crowd contrasts the relaxed people on the bench.

Don't like the composition. There's nothing interesting here for me to look at. Further, this shot says "mall", not "city". 3 sjgleah

I like how you centered the benches and an awesome title...I bet the photographer is a hot mama too ! ;-)

Something very exciting is going on.....

I like your subject, and I love the angle you've chosen to show off the two people. My two complaints are: a) the image is a little light, almost washed-out and b) the image isn't centered, and I think that's pretty crucial to pulling off this effect.

is this the line for star wars?

I know centering things isn't always the best way to go, but I felt the bench should be centered and raised up in the image. But that's just me :)

This would be better if you could see some faces, there is no emotion in this photo

I'd like to see this cropped tighter to remove the distraction from the postures of the two central characters. More focus needed. 7

Decent shot with all the mixed lighting, but what is everybody looking at? I seem to be far more interested in that, whatever it is.

A lot of city hustle and bustle in this photo :) It's a good photo but here's *my* beef with it: it seems that EVERYONE's attention in this photo is focused away from you. I get the impression that there is somethign going on in this photo that I can't see :) I have never been a real fan of photogrpahing people from behind unelss there is a specific reason for it. :) = 6 - jmsetzler

I think it might have been effective if just the bench and people were showing. The good thing about having a lot of people, though, is you can study each one and wonder what each was thinking.

a lot of people, and what are the people on the right hand side looking at?
