I like everything about this image...

Black and white was a good choice for this. Makes it look "industrial" instead of green and brick.

Nice shot. The B/W medium works great for your shot.

Excellent shot. The lighting and composition are excellent.

Excellent photo but my gut tells me that the sky is too bright. Possibly cropping down a bit would make this perfect. Great contrast and point of view. Good Job!

I'm not sure if I like this photo in black and white.

A bit dark, the trees on the far side of the river are very hard to see. Photo 8 City 7 total 8

Beautiful photo. Being processed in B/W enhances the mood a lot. The only thing I might mention would be that the building visually appears to be a tiny bit off vertical. If you used wide angle, and thus would have prespective problems you might have tried to make the near corner of the main, tall building the vertical line, as that's the one that your eye goes to right away.

Ooo...old mill canal? B&W works well, I think. I don't know if you could have gone to the other side of the water, but I think I'd have liked to see a bit more of the facade of the building. There seems to be just a bit too much sky in this photo for my taste.

Stunning B&W. Gives me a feeling of lonleyness in an old city.

Not sure some of the American voters will understand about the industrial revolution and its impact on the English cities. However, I do . Good shot, Nice idea."8". Dogman.

Not sure why I like this shot actually (the b&W, the lines?), but it got one of my higher scores.

Not like I'm one to say it...but a little too grey and could have used a different dof It reveals dreariness. Still a good photo.

The people are too small to really count as signs of life.
