Neil thought this was mine? You know what's funny? My own daughter thought the same thing. It think it's more of an honour for me to be compared to Bea :) It's such a lovely shot, I wish it were mine.

I think that this image is so much better than all of the ribbon winners in this challenge that it just isn't funny. You should have several ribbons to your credit. The fact that you haven't any yet just points out how bad the voting is here. It really makes me wonder if the votes are manipulated in some way. Anyway, keep up the great work. Lots of us here love what you do.

| Just wanted to let you know that this is one of only two 10s that I gave in the challenge. It's an absolutely beautiful image and I just love the way you have used light, shadow and colour to create such a wonderful abstract piece of art. The texture of the metal prongs against the soft blurred colours is just fabulous. Thank you for sharing this with us! |

Oops--Bea, I should have guessed it was you rather than Ursula (another DPC photographer I admire, as well as you!).
But this is right within your style, and it's beautiful as well. I was thinking this would ribbon (I gave it a 10). Still top 20 is very good! Congratulations!

| 7 - I like the abstract, good colors. Criticism; difficult, as it is an abstract but, perhaps a little more definition, especially in texture, of the fork edge, may have made this better in my opinion. Not sure on the frame and the thickness of it, especially at this size. I would rather have seen the pixels used to show more of your shot. |

| Oh boy, if this is not a "dax-" then I'm not ursula. Absolutely beautiful! And the title is just right also - makes me hungry to just look at it, ahhh, a cup of good coffee and some toast and jelly, sitting on a porch, watching the birds fly by (just dreaming, it's cold, grey and snowy here). I hope you ribbon. |
