In USA one can find a North Fork Moutain in West Virgina but this could be the Icelandic version with the Sun Voyager (Sólfar)in the foreground. This work of art, with the huge fork, is made by Jón Gunnar Árnason and located at the Reykjavik shoreline. Beautiful December sun lighning up a nearby mountain. Could be the North Fork... couldn´t it?

One of my 9s, this is a fabulous picture. I really love the composition, the low perspective, the use of the sculpture to frame the mountain behind and oh! that golden light that falls upon it! So wonderful a focal point amidst the dark shapes of the foreground and the blues and whites of the sky. Really beautifully done!

Interesting find and well captured. The composition of the fork figures is very good. The background, however, is such a grand vista that I wish the forks were not there. Maybe a different composition of the forks but with a less interesting and beautiful background....maybe just the sky and not the mountains and the lake?

Little less cropping on the left, and perhaps more on the right, to emphaiza the fork part...

Outstanding rendition with a background so good that the viewer wishes he could rise above the forks. But that would be a different challenge. Very nice.

I've seen this, both in a previous challenge (unfortunately, it got disqualified) and in real life when I went to Iceland. You guys always make it look bigger than it is in the photos. ;)
But it's a beautiful sculpture. Love the shot with the overcast sky and the mountains popping out in the background like they are the only thing the sun is hitting.

Very interesting shapes, that you captured the sunset and the mountains is great Nicely done. One critique, if the mountains could be sharper and the fuzzy spot on the right side was better youd have a killer shot.
