My shadow are the two bumps on the far left, that’s my daughter standing beside me that looks like the fire hydrant. I thought they would add an aspect to the picture, .....WRONG.

good lighting, though the shadow on thebottom left is distracting.

Welcome to Anytown. Nice shot.

Good choice, nice composition, my only complaint is the harsh shadow in the lower right corner.

Unfortunate shadow in the lower left.

nice catch of the morning atmospere...!

Has a nice mood. I like the silence and calmness the photo transports because of the light and the long shadows (dawn or sunset ?) I would have zoomed in a litte bit. The post on the right side frames the photo wich is nice at first but when I take a sheet of paper and cover it on my screen it looks better somehow. Also the shadow of yourself taking the photo is a bit distracting because it's an "unnatural" dark spot in the middle of the light. Maybe when the car in the center would not have been there the photo would be even more "calm". Also the yellow sign makes a bit more busy but not so much because the color matches to the whole photo.

I could like this town, is that your shadow in the lower left, tisk tisk :-) Technicaly, exposure and focus, a good picture. Personaly, Ii would'ov picked an angle that excluded the backlit side of the street, just my opinion.

I like the lighting and shadows on the sidewalk caused by the polls. I am a bit distracted by the shadow in the lower left corner.

Would hvae been much better if your shadow had not appeared in the lower left.

Nice shot! Small town life is more appealing to me than the big city :) = 7 - jmsetzler

Okay.... life in this "city" is ... let's say "quiet"! LOL. I actually envy that. Is that your shadow on the lower left? May have been hard to eliminate. I like how the road and shadows of the poles lead my eye to the mountains.

Nice image. I think I would have stepped forward to get the fire hydrant(?) shadow out of the lower left corner. Did you take one from in the street? I like the hill/mountain in the background and the mission cafe sign. Not much life around there on Monday. 7

Three streets? It's a BIG town. Nicly captured.

LIFE looks boring in that town.

Nice dof and clean clear shot. Not crazy about your shadow in the bottom left but a fine shot. Kee

Too bad about your shadow!

I just KNEW someone would shoot rush hour :) Seriously, lots of potential in the subject, but the lower right hand side 'really' hurt the shot. Maybe you could have gotten someone to park a bright car there? Also, is that your shadow in the lower left?

Great image quality and nice photo. Maybe could have used a different angle, but that's just my opinion. Overall good photo
06/24/2002 12:17:00 PM
aahh!!! nice... but what's that shadow on the left?!
06/24/2002 11:55:00 AM
i can see your shadow
06/24/2002 09:43:00 AM
I would love to know where this was taken. It's such a cool little town/city. The shadow on the left, yours I guess, would be better cropped out:)
06/24/2002 09:03:00 AM
I like the light...it feels like a Monday morning. Could you have stepped back a little and zoomed in so that you wouldn't have gotten your own shadow in? At least that's what the thing at the bottom left looks like to me.

Nice crisp pix!
