Everything has a shadow, even the keyboard. It's lika a big city with big houses in a foggy Moon night.

dark and out of focus. i'd suggest buying a macro lens for these types of shots.

Horribly blurry/out of focus.

I like the framing, but I think the picture is too dark and I don't understand why this photo has to be out of focus.

Very dark image, and yes there are some shadows, but this is out of focus, and just dosen't do anything for me sorry. Score 2 --------- Corey

Different!

Where's the shadow? Isn't this just a dark picture of a keyboard? Try putting half in shadow and half not, with an interesting pattern marking the join

just a little too dark and out of focus.

The entirety of this picture is too dark. I know you have shadows, I can see them on the front side of the keys, but if the rest of the keys were better focused, and lighter, I think it would have been a more effective picture.

A strong directional source of light would have made this picture more interesting.

shadows? how about LIGHTS OUT!
06/19/2002 08:29:00 AM
quite blurry and a little dark.

This is just a dark picture of a keyboard, where's the shadow, I don't see it at all!

I find this blurry and uninteresting. It has potential, though. Possibly adding intense color and some of the keys in sharp focus.

I got my ass chewed out in the forums because I made a sarcastic comment to a picture that I thought was very poorly done, so in advance 'I apologise'. I know you can d......

A section of very dark out of focus keyboard. I don't know what to do with this one.
06/17/2002 06:28:00 PM
shadows?
06/17/2002 06:24:00 PM
This does not evoke a shadow to me. Just an out of focus overly dark pretty uninteresting photo.
06/17/2002 06:09:00 PM
too dark focus poor
06/17/2002 04:59:00 PM
way to dark and blurry too
06/17/2002 04:37:00 PM
A bit more focus and a bit mor light would have probably made this image very impressive! I like the diagonals and i think that backlighting this shot would have provided nice shadows as well as some good contrast :)

Hm. I'm sure there's something you are trying to tell us with this shot that I'm not getting. To me, it's just an OOF keyboard that's rather too dark. Oh, yes, and it happens to have some shadows, too. Sorry.

Brown out problems? Very dark photo with hints of blue/grey color. Vaguely out of focus (were you going for a soft focus shot?) Many digital cameras (mine included) have problems with autofocus in darker conditions (IR focusing). Try aiming at a subject in better light that is about the same distance away, lock the focus (half shutter press) then swing back to your dark subject. It will be in focus. Also try a looonnnggger exposure with a tripod (will capture a brighter photo) Photo 3 Creativity 6 Shadows 6 total 4 (photo quality really hurt your score)

This would be a very cool photo if it were in focus...
06/17/2002 01:40:00 PM
I've seen better photographs from blind people
06/17/2002 01:09:00 PM
I don't mind the darkness (it conveys a point effectively), but I wish it weren't blurred.
06/17/2002 01:46:00 AM
Neat, but more like the dark of the keyboard.
06/17/2002 12:40:00 AM
Focus, Focus and more focus. O ya, and lighting too.
06/17/2002 12:25:00 AM
This is a bit too dark for my tastes. I get a sense of a keyoard in darkness, by the glow of the monitor perhaps?
06/17/2002 12:20:00 AM
way too dark.
