Too far off. Too dark.

It's slightly tilted. Other than that it's a great picture.

straighten it

Colour may have brought this to life a bit, and less sky may have increased the buildings impact. Seems slightly off horizontal as well. This toning has brought out the cloud textures well.

this would work better for me if you could rotate image about 1 degree CCW. 6

I feel like the picture is tilted. That may just be the way the castle is though. Great pic! 8

Good pic but needs straightening up a bit.

castles are so cool. ive never seen one in real life. are there really dragons in the moat?
06/27/2003 02:29:11 AM
Is the castle slanted?

I like your picture... I think it´s a good work and the colour is perfect... I prefere to see it in duotones, not in colours

Good subject for the challenge. Composition is a little too centered - maybe put the country home more to the left and show more of the river. A tad dark and not squared up.

I'D RATHER SEE THIS IN FULL COLOUR

Composition: Nice use of foreground for depth. The tree in the mid-ground looks a bit out of place though. Needs rotating CCW
Technical: Good quality and use of duotone.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Nice choice of subject, not sure on the composition.

Could have done with being a bit straighter on your verticals. Should have chopped down that sapling too [just kidding ;o] - 5

What are you doing outside my house? 7

too dark?

Lovely! A little dark on my monitor, with no detail in the foreground.

Everything looks like it's leaning to the right. I probably would have straightened it in photoshop.

nice castle too bad you hadn't rotated to fix your horizon/level the bldg.

Should have rotated it a bit

Great picture although perhaps a little bit too dark. Also a slight anti-clockwise rotate to make the turrent point straight up would have helped. Great subject and composition though.

This feels like it's tilted to the right just a bit, but it's a great scene! Nice toning, also.

I do think your choice of black and white works well here, though the pic overall seems dark. The photo seems to be leaning a bit. I do love your composition with the branches in the foreground and your choice of subject is very cool.
