This is a very COOL shot. I'll always think of Zac as a Aztec sun dancer!! very festive. If you look at It long enough,It made me think about how did he do that with his arm?

very nice shadow, but something bothers me about this shot. i think it's the texture of the background, mostly, which kind of cuts into the shadow and makes it look too sharp. i think the out of focus left side also bothers me a bit. a different crop might be nice, too, maybe moving the figure over to the left side to get rid of that soft focus and creating more negative space. overall, though, a nice shot.

Great shot, the frozen action is superb. I'd love to see a howto for this one.

This is in my top 5, I like the idea behind this shot, kinda reminds me of Peter Pan trying to catch his shadow. It portrays a picture of someone leaping into the great unknown. Wonderful fulfillment of hte challenge. Score 8 --------- Corey

GREAT shadow! Excellent contrast against the background as well... Only improvement that I could offer would be to possibly crop a little tighter maybe? Good work! - jmsetzler

Very nicely composed. I guess you would have taken a lot of eperimental shots before you finally entered this one!Texture int he front is I guess a little disturbing so may be a leseer DOF would have helped.

It just needs something more, but I still like it overall. I think it's the wall that I don't like.

I love the splayed fingers and the feeling of flying or floating. The contrast is wonderful.

Great idea and execution. I would have loved to see the "dancer" at the top of the frame rather than the bottom.

I like the contrast and texture. Would this high contrast have worked in color also?

I really like this one. It reminds me of something I once saw in a magazine. The texture of the surface that the shadow is projected on works very well. The shadow is very dark and well defined. I think I would like it better with a slight cropping from the left and the top, but that's just my personal taste. Very good job on this one.

I thought there'd be a lot of pictures like this, and there are, but yours is one of the best.

Great idea - might have looked better if the camera had been stright on to the wall. As it is, it looks like the left hand side is falling away.
