Wow, amazing work Joey! I love the clarity of the lit areas and the fade-outs to dark areas. Great use of Grandma's wood to emphasize focus. It's cool how the negative space inside the wood circle mimics the negative space to the upper-left of the photo. I wonder how you decided on the way you framed/cropped this shot.
Amazing. Is this your (I think it was your Grandmother's?) old piece of wood that you used in another shot (one looking out over a field of snow into the forest? Very cool.
Yep, it was kickin around and I couldn't just let it be retired after one picture! :-)
This is fantastic Joey. Really great stuff. Love the tones and clarity. Amazing. Is this your (I think it was your Grandmother's?) old piece of wood that you used in another shot (one looking out over a field of snow into the forest? Very cool.
at first my eyes go to your lips, then your eye. very crispy. too bad your left shoulder is a bit out of perspective but hey.. can I buy you a drink? ;)
hhhmmmm...
Not only dop you have a growth on your face, but you need more zinc and/or protein in your diet.
(judging by the lack of luluna at the base of your nails) LOL
I really want your brain, dood. At first I thought maybe it'd be cool if your eye matched the bg, but now I think it's perfect how it is because it matches the wood.
