cant believe it dint get a top 3. maybe coz it turned out to be too simple.. simply a photo inside the press. if maybe u had digitilized it a lil.. it wudve been at the top
10/12/2005 05:00:41 PM
I can't believe this didn't place higher! Great job, I love the originality
10/12/2005 01:53:57 PM
Thought this was very imaginative and well laid out. Expected to see it in the top 3.
10/12/2005 09:15:50 AM
Congrats on 8th place. I expected this to be even higher.
10/12/2005 12:17:36 AM
Congratulations on your top Ten finish. A refreshing entry.

wonderful. This photo is in my top ten for the challenge.
10/09/2005 02:11:04 AM
excellant picture.. i'll rate it high. hope it gets the ribbon
10/09/2005 12:00:57 AM
I like the idea, but the illusion would be much more engaging if the little man didn't look so flat.
10/08/2005 01:17:38 PM
Lol! Nice idea Daniel, you never cease to amaze me what you can pull out of your hat withi these basic editing rules, my hat goes off to you and I wouldn´t be surprised to see this close to, or even on top of this challenge. Gave this an 8. However, I must make one slight comment about the contrast in the image, to me it seems a bit flat, perhaps a slight "s-curve" would improve this a little bit?
10/08/2005 12:40:20 PM
Cool - original
10/08/2005 12:21:37 PM
Reluctant coffe?
10/07/2005 09:11:17 PM
Top10 I am sure. Very interested in how you did this.
10/07/2005 05:17:03 PM
Is it a double shoot? Greate pic, but does it measure the rules of this contest?
10/07/2005 01:27:16 PM
How did you do this?
10/07/2005 11:36:26 AM
I really don't know how you did this within the basic editing limits.
10/07/2005 07:48:21 AM
This is great and I'm sure it will be one of the top ones in this challenge. Good luck!
10/07/2005 12:26:24 AM
I don't think you're allowed to submit something like this, as I'm almost certain that you didn't pull it off in one shot. If you did, then wow. I'll give you the "8," (gullibly) assuming that this is a legitimate submission, but, you'll probably end up disqualified. (Also, if it is a composite of two images, the one of the "guy" doesn't really blend with the larger one.)
10/06/2005 10:30:46 PM
This is an impressive shot to do if it was done without spot editing (as the rules stipulate). Other than the questionable editing, I love the concept.
10/06/2005 10:27:39 PM
Clever.
10/06/2005 10:00:43 PM
Very well done and quite funny.
10/06/2005 04:46:08 PM
cool concept for a photo! i've felt like that many a time...
the image inside of the french press feels rough and two-dimensional in comparison to the rest of the photograph...i would be interested in seeing how this image would look with softer edges around the squishy guy, but i'm not sure how to approach that within the basic editing rules.
10/06/2005 03:36:37 PM
This is great! Amazing! You better tell us how you did it! (9)
10/06/2005 01:55:10 PM
very very nice...but are you allowed to do that in this open challenge? anyway, well done:)
10/06/2005 01:46:24 PM
this will get a ribbon
10/06/2005 12:22:00 PM
WOW. Wild! How did you do this? Very funny
10/06/2005 11:56:51 AM
Tech. great, little to creative for me in this type of challenge, but very well done....6
10/06/2005 10:37:26 AM
REally great idea and well laid out photo. The only thing i didn't care for was the background. A bit too greish smudgy looking. '9'
10/06/2005 06:21:42 AM
I would like to see this validated before I mark it properly
10/06/2005 05:55:56 AM
Hahahaha. It really seems like he is in there. How did you do this. 10
10/06/2005 01:16:37 AM
yes, that would be a nightmare..good job 10
10/06/2005 01:00:05 AM
I assume that is cut out, pretty cool.
10/06/2005 12:34:55 AM
Beautiful shot, I love this illusion! 10 from me!
10/05/2005 08:24:28 PM
Ok I have been trying to figure out how you did this and I can't. I am sure there is some simple explanation but for the life of me I can't find it. Because the "model" or "prisoner" is in front of the metal I am at a loss. congrats I am sure this will be top ten if not ribbon. is it a photo cut out placed inside the press? I guess I will have to wait. Oh by the way 9
10/05/2005 12:48:42 PM
hahaha, help! very funny, great idea. 8.
10/05/2005 02:36:21 AM
ribbon!
10/05/2005 01:02:11 AM
SQUISH HIM!! ;-) Clever! A little soft on the focus and contrast, but creative and less bad than the others I've seen. ;-) Good luck.
10/05/2005 12:40:21 AM
Very well done
