Nice stark minimalism to this image. It probably would have been intersting with a spoon in it. But I think you've managed to capture a simple yet striking image in this composition. 8

love the obtuse ripple effect..and the simplicity of the picture altogether but still makes you want to take a closer look :)

This image seems to be lacking something. The strong contrast between the cup and the background is quite striking, but this high contrast seems to break down inside the cup. Perhaps rich, brown coffee with a sugar cube or mint sprig floating in it would have helped to complete the composition. Even so, this is my favorite image in the challenge so far.

I like it. Nice and simple but very nicely balanced composition. A drop of swirling cream in the coffee might have set this off nicely.

this is interesting and very abstract. when i look at this i think"half full or half empty". a picture that arises a question is always a good photo... well usually. haha great job! 7
