 This is my 1st entry with new camera, and it's going to take awhile to get used to.

I used a polorizing filter, sharpened, other than that it's straight from the cam except for the border.

I really like this shot and I think it was underrated in the challenge. The angle and composition are very appealing and the areas of light and dark add interest. I really do feel as if I'm standing there taking the shot.

I'm new here and just stumbled across this photograph while looking at the shots here from FZ-30 owners.

Ironically just about one month (10/24/05) after you snapped this one, I took this with my FZ-20:

I've never been there, but I think this is a big arch in a southern US city? Is it St Louis? Anyway, it's terrific. The feeling you've created is of a celestial pathway; light and somehow insubstantial ... sort of 'other worldly'. I'm guessing the designer would approve of your photograph. I do, too.

Nice arch photo. The highlight in the lower right is a bit too bright, but great sky. Such a photogenic structure.

Nice. You left out the ground. Having the camera on the ground and capturing the support would add. Colors are great. I have a photo like this. I stood in the center. The clouds help. Good luck.
