Good idea. I think there is too much negative space in the composition, but that's just me. Overall, a decent shot.

Nice saturation & composition. Wish for a little more depth from the image.

The setup of the ornaments is sort of flat and uninteresting. I like the use of color agaisnt white and your lighting is well done, but the final result is simply an overhead shot of three rather uninteresting oranaments. Decent execution, but not a lot in and of the shot to hold my interest. Perhaps if you had strung them up with fishing line and shot them in the air with more distance between them and the background you would have more depth and more interest?

I like the simplicity of this shot. The only thing I would change is to maybe have some sublle texture in the background--like they are on velvet. There is a little noise or shadow around the purple, but I still give this a 9.

Lovely still life, nice colours without the temptation to go OTT with saturation.

I'm not sure that I go for purple for Christmas, but I like the composition.

Love this one. Glad you chose something other than red and green too. Great composition and the satin finish on the balls makes for nice light reflection. VERY pretty indeed. Great use of negative space too.
