I think this is absolutely gorgeous the way it is (focus and everything).

does not tell me anything

Great dof a little soft on the focus, but overall nicely done.

Bumping up after second look. I like this in black and white. To me, this also would have worked in the Greeting Card challenge.

Good DOF. Makes this image work.

Lovely idea, sadly the hands are a little out of focus...

Nice, I like the shallow DOF and all the soft greys.

This is an interesting photo. I like the idea, but my eyes keeps trying to focus in on the girl and thats is a little distracting for me.

This shot has some potential - we see the bubbles but there is something that is lacking from this photo and that is the introduction of the human element in response to those bubbles. We see a child here in this shot - the child is not the focal point but he/she should have been brought in as a focal point in addition to the bubbles shown adorning the hands. This would be so much more visually appealing if we could see an expression on the child's face - and expression of wonder, a smile, a laugh - it would go a long way into improving this composition.

oh this is cool. I love the hair band and the B&W - makes it feel vintage. I would love it more if the background was darker so the hands and bubbles drew my attention immediately. If she was wearing something darker, or if you burned the background to darken it might work too. Very nice. 7

I tried to do this with my son and didn't turn out nearly as well as yours!. Great shot!

Effective use of shallow depth of field. Nice photo!

This would have worked better for me had her face also been in focus, especially if she looked fascinated by the bubbles.

I like the focus on the hands only.
