Challenge: Perspective II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Nikon D70
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED
Location: Bedford, MA

Date Uploaded: Sep 13, 2005

I tried to think of an unusual perspective that might also be right under my own nose, so-to-speak. It felt weird putting my treasured Nikon inside the oven and closing the door ... I used the self-Timer (duh!) and set the lens to a wide angle to get some context.
I adjusted the white balance and contrast.

GEEZE! I hope you remembered to turn that thing off before putting your camera in!

Creative concept...I wish the oven glass was just a tad bit cleaner, but again, creative idea.

If I see this right, I think this may have been taken through your oven door. I did this too once. I think this is a great idea and your shot turned out great. Well done my friend. I like your sense of humour. I hope you win a place.
P.S. If this is the oven, perhaps you should have scraped off the dirt with a razor blade first. That's what I did.

I would love to hear how you did this picture. I tried a ton of things but I couldn't get it without the reflection.

I think it woulda been cooler had you been able to see the whole edge of the window. Cool idea though.

hahaha! This is a GREAT take on the challenge. It's more POV than perspective (I realize POV is one deifnition of perspective) so the voters are gonna crucify you on that alone, but I really admire your whimsical thinking here. 8 from me :-)

ROFL This is great. What a clever idea. NOt the best artistic or technical shot, but certainly one with originality and humor.
