The feel of this photo is fantastic. At first glance it makes me think of my Grandmother's basement.

The sepia tones really work well here for this photo, and your compositiion of the baskets and tools being spread out make this photo well balanced. There really isn't anything I would change about this photo other than maybe adding dried flowers to a basket or a few canning jars to the image to add a little more of an effect of the past to it. The lighting on the left bottom let you wonder what is in the shadows and distracts slightly from the overall appearance. The focus here is really good the baskets are in such sharp focus you can see the texture in them and the floor you can see the grains of the wood as well as some dirt or small pebbles on the floor.

It really does portray the title. Keep up the wonderful work.

I like the feel of this shot, but I feel there are simply too many elements in the shot to focus our attention. Good tones, lighting and focus however. :)

nice shot, looks a little "posed" and too clean. think the border detracts a little.

I am a big fan of baskets (living in rural New England helps) and have several color prints of them on my wall. I really love this photo with one exception - I like the composition of everything except the shoes - I find they draw my attention when I would rather focus on the baskets. Just my opinion, but I could definately see this as a salable print with that one change. Hope this helps and good luck in the challenge! (good score)

The tones of this duotone are amazing. There is a lot of stuff going on - especially with the back 'row' - but other than the cut off basket on the right, none of it seems out of place. The upper right is a bit darker than the rest, but this is a superb shot. 10 and good luck!

The tones and shadows make this a very strong shot. Wouldn't change a thing. 10 -danny

Very nice still life. Arrangement and composition are marvelous. I get a real nostalgic feel from this due to your wonderful lighting. You make duotone really work well here. 10

The composition seems very stagnant.

Nice tone, but the composition is not working for me. Everything is too orderly. I realize that this may well be how the scene presented itself, but it just has too much balance. Sharpness is good, though, and it is an interesting scene with lots of texture and nostalgia. Good work.

beautiful work... I think this perspective is phenomenal and the composition along with the toning you chose creates a beautiful rustic/rural feeling... = 10

I like the old fashioned feeling you've created. Tobacco sepia is my favourite tone, it's very fitting here - this is very good!

Excellent I love the contrast in this.... great black to white range, and perfect sepia toning to it (not over-done). Excellent!! 8.
