Fascinating capture. Like the color and how you lit it.

WOW--wonderful capture and somewhat humorous, though I'm not sure the frame and purple background works with this.

This picture looks unreal... how'd you get the purple background? and it seems rather big for an ordinary bat... how'd you get that close to an awake bat?

The bat is the subject here, and the branch seems to be nothing more than a prop. The post production effects look to be used purely for the sake of using effects too.

I like the composition and I don't mind the wierd colour in the arrangement, but why is this little fellow upside down? He.. and his red eye are so much more effective rotated 180 degrees, and hanging as bats usually do!

Great catch. Pose and title work well together.

your picture is upside down. on a serious note, lighting could be better, although understand the circumstances. wish it were a bit tighter in focus, but good effort all the same.

Sorry. The yellow and the purple ruin it for me. If the background was pretty "eeech" originally, would B&W have worked better?

Looks like a high-wire act, and I smiled. Nice composition, with the sunset highlights on the branches. I really like that purple sky - I wonder if it's natural or if your edits brought that color out. 8

it seems a little out of focus and the bright purple is a little distracting, BUT I do love the model and your use of composition.

Cute shot - I don't care for the border. Great composition otherwise and very creative take.

What a unique subject. I've never seen a capture of a bat before. Great shot for Halloween. Like the lighting and the background very much.

Could have dealt with the grain/noise , or the weird coloring, but not both together. Good idea though.
