 Westside Pavilion Mall, roof overhang (if that makes sense). The original was rotated 90 degrees CW. I'm not so sure how this will do with the nice gradients but I'm hopeing people will agree that the lines are defined by the contrasting shadows. I'm probably reaching here. I like the photo.

NeatImage, rotate, clone out some major cracks on the pillars and one distracting line, also cloned out a power line in the sky, curves layer, selected color layer.

Very visually pleasing composition. I do wonder what the **** it is though. ;-) That aside, you've got nice tones and good light/shadow. I wouldn't mind seeing the "space" at the top in a deeper color, but this is a good solid entry.

While this photo presents some very interesting lines, for me, it doesn't shout high contrast in comparison to other photos in this challenge. I find the colors and tones soothing.

Very nice. Technically great and it contains high contrast qualities. In this competition I'm looking for 2 things though, high contrast in the image qualities, and high contrast in the subject(s) within the image.. something in the image that is in contrast (other than color or shade) with something else in the image. Still a 7 from me though.

I like this shot, but I find the colour gradient annoying... I guess it's just from compressing the image? 5

interesting concept on light but not enough to keep me here, I think if the blue was bluer and the oranges were a little stronger.
