Went out this afternoon to take some pictures of fountains. While setting up to take a picture of the fountain to left - this man, obviously impaired both physically and mentally, using hand gesture's because he could not speak begged me to take his picture.

I asked him, "sir would you like your picture taken". With an humble unrecognizable voice, he said yes, yes, please.

He rolled his power chair in this position and tried his best to smile. I took a few pictures and his eyes seemed to light up. See he lives across the street in a home for the elderly and disabled that are able to move around the building and outside with little assistance but needs professional care to survive.

After taking his picture i could not help but open my wallet and give in a few dollars (undisclosed) because even though he though I was making his day, he in fact was making mine.

I know I could of had a better backdrop but this is the position he chose.

To him, whom ever you may be, may life be kind to you.

Neat story really completes this picture. Maybe B/W treatment would take care of the yellow and also add a certain poignancy (sp?) which goes well with this shot. Nice job.

Thanks for sharing that tender story - and I firmly believe that acts of random kindness return to you tenfold.

As for your question about the yellow, yes I would try to either change the hue or clone it out. Still, a wonderful shot that I know you will treasure for many years to come. :-)
