 So while visiting my cousins cottage for the week I was able to hop on the internet at a small store for a few seconds and find out what the challenge was. When I got back, 5 minutes later, the sun had went down and left this nice sky so I quickly thought up this idea. After a few tries, the shoes were way too dark... Even too dark for Joey Lawrence!

So I begged my cousin to stand there a bit longer and got a flashlight and 'painted' the shoes with light rapidly back and forth for the one second exposure,(Thanks again for the camera graphicfunk! ) keeping in mind I could get rid of the nasty yellow tint in PS hue/sat.

And will some people will recognize my shoes? :-) I know JPR will, and maybe Alecia.

Like the idea, and love the colors ,but the color and pattern of the shoes kills it, also your models head was too much in the dark area, needed to stand out more against the sky.

The lilghting on the red and black checkered shoes is outstanding. Very nice composition and beautiful sunset. I like the fact that you have a person in your image, it adds interest.

I like how the focus is on the shoes yet the capture makes my eye wander all over the picture. I am drawn back to the shoes. Very nicely done. Good color, detail, focus. Nice silhouette.

A little too harsh lithing on the shoes for my taste but other than that very nice, one of the better shots in the challenge, 7 from me.

I like this very much. It's more than just shoes, yet they are the subject your eye falls on first. I like the lighting. The silhouette is perfectly placed in the shot. I might crop out some of the bottom and just "start" the shot right below the shadow of the shoe. Otherwise, a really good one.

didn't take long to find this one. pops out at em good. i knew i'd see those shoes. seriously though, I think this will do extremely well. (i'd say ribbon but i haven't seen the other 400ish yet)
