This woman does have natural beauty, but your photo doesn't portray it very well. The pose looks unnatural. She looks very uncomfortable. I think that her hair shouldn't have been tucked behind her ears. I am not sure why you cropped off the other breast either? Overall, the photo quality and the model are great IMO, but the pose and composition were your downfall. Good luck in future challenges, this one was very hard!

| Really thrown by that RED lipstick. Gives the soft image a jolt of harshness. Everything else is great. |

| The bright red lipstick steals attention from the image as a whole. The crop is a bit more aggressive than I would like. Moving your model a bit further from the wall will help to reduce the appearance of shadows behind her. |

| The lipstick on the model is glaringly red. Don't know if this was intentional, but it draws the eye right to it. |

| The lighting is strong in one spot on her hair, but nowhere else; kind of distracting. The red of her lips seems over-saturated to me. The expression on her face could be better. Also, the DOF looks very narrow. There is a distinct vertical band of focus down the middle. Her breast is in (soft) focus, but everything to the right is blurred. It's especially visible at the shoulder. |

| Sorry about the odd comment. I love the pose, and the ultra red lips are ALMOST too much, but very lovely. I think the picture looks a bit over sharpened, could also be reduction fragments. The shadow on the background is also distracting. Good luck |

Like the look.
The on camera flash ruins it a little. the sharp shadow to the right of the nose isn't good. Try to bounce the flash, or use some sort of a difuser. Even a piece of white paper over the flash can help get rid of that sharp shadow. |

| I like the pinkness of her skin and the lighting is soft on her chest. The crop. Well, imo, it is unfortunate it is so tight. Her pose looks a bit forced. I think she would look more comfortable reclining or sitting up fully. I will come back to this one after the challenge ends to read the story. |

| The background doesn't seem to go with the image. The redness of her lipstick draws my eye to the lips and not the eyes. This leaves her eyes to be seen by my peripheral vision, an effect I like - it adds a nice dimension to this image. Nice capture and good luck. |

| Nice shot. I feel that the model looks very afraid. If this is a self portrait that would explain it.( LOL I was too afraid to enter.) I feel there is something wrong with the lighting on her face. |

| I like the idea of this shot. For me, the red lipstick detracts from the theme of "natural" a little though. I think another light coming from the top right could really bring out her face and remove the shadows from what appears to be the flash. |

She is a beauty, I'll give you that. Unfortunately the crop seems to indicate she only has one breast (forgive me if that is actually the case) and the look on her face tells me you got your ass kicked for taking this.
If there was a problem with the other breast or if you dodn't want to show it, a satin sheet would have been good. Hope I gave you some good feedback. Good luck. |
