 Yes this was shot in the wild :), the Amazon has lots of beautiful butterflies (i forgot the name of this one!)

Awesome shot. How much of this is digital art? Looks like at least a PS filter has been applied, and the background looks like it could be some PS work as well. Regardless of how you achieved it, it's beautiful and well-done.

Incredible job on this - really. How in the world did you get the background to match the colors so beautifully? Did you use a gradient fill? It's really a phenomenal shot.

Absolutely! I definitely want to buy one!

We are building a new house the kids call the dragonfly house. So, I plan to do a lot of decorating with dragonflies, butterflies, etc. I guess they will have to re-name it the bug house! :) This would look just awesome in my bed room!!!

looks like a painting. now you're doing insect macros? we're all in trouble... you do some of the best portrait and color work on the site, cool to see what you do with bugs.
