A graduated ND filter would have helped preserve the highlights instead of blowing them.

The geese, in an odd way, mirror the rocks behind them. Interesting relationship...

i think this would have been more powerful if it were BW rather than color. why? because the colors aren't saturated as much... there is obviously rain in this image and that great but the colors aren't as powerful as the image of rain... 6

Nice shot. You might try cropping a bit off of the left and top to emphasize the strong diagonal lines.(Goose-Rock-Rock-Geese-Rock, lined up with the shore)

Nice shot - very interesting and appealing landscape. Wish the sky wasn't so blown out tho...

I think this would have been better if more of the sky was cropped out to just above the tree line in the back ground.

i felt that a close up that brought out some more detail and texture would have been more interesting, too much gray sky stole something from the best part of the picture

It would be nice to crop out most of the sky in this one.

Somewhat muddy. Hard to get clean shots in the rain, as I discovered with the 100 or so that I took. Did you use flash? Might have added some fill in light on the geese if you had.

I like the balance between the geese and the stone structures in the background. The large empty sky kinda detracts from the picture, though. 5

I like natural framing on the left & open-ness on the right. The geese & rock sculptures lend good interest, nice shot. The slightly tilted horizon (lake) is a little distracting.

Beautiful! I love the misty look of your background. And I'm going to always love photos of ducks and geese. Great job.

Quite a good photo but I see a pretty bad clone job on the right of the shot which really detracts from the overall image.

Nicely done. Good rain picture. I really like the muted colors. Geese need a bit more light, but whatcha gonna do?
