While a fabulous shot, IMO its a bit of a stretch, in regards to the challenge. That said, it's one of the best B&Ws I've seen in a while - crisp, well contrased, and interesting. In another challenge, I would have voted it a 10. But as I can't see any rain in it, I can only give it a 6
Interesting choise to use bw on this. It gives it a very "primitive" feeling, and I suspect helps the viewer to focus on the water more than the foliage and stuff around it.
Beautiful image and I think the B/W works surprisingly well. Great focus & DOF. You may get hit by some voters who don't "see" any rain here (only drawback of the dark B/W finish). Very well composed - nice job.
