Doesn't really have rain in it, but the rain is nearby. I was taking a few pictures at the summit of Long's Peak when an updraft blew these clouds right by us. Couldn't pass up the opportunity for a quick picture.

Where are you 14,000 feet. Only a few places on the eath are that high. I'm guessing Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Though it is the coming of rain, doesn't say rain to me though. Like the trio of people.

that is one menacing sky... IMHO that little rock at the bottom right hand corner is a bit distracting because the ground plane is continuous but jogs at that location... clone it out or crop tighter... 7

DNMC... :-(

Clouds make rain, but they are not rain, they are water vapour.

Very cool shot, I like the drama of the clouds and the hikers for scale.

This shot is rather intimidating feeling. The men, who are obviously not tiny little runts, are being dwarfed and overcome by nature. Though not exactly "rain" (my opinion, obviously), definitely gives the idea that it has either just rained, or these guys are going to get wet in the very near future.

Good exposure as well.

For some reason, the figures are distracting to me in this shot. I love the powerful feel of the sky grounded by the dark rugget rocks and the guys just look like little mini men. Maybe if they were grouped together and not spread out - I'd like them being in the shot. 7

I'd be on my hunches if it were really brewing at that altitude or running downhill like a bat out ot...

a bit more dodge and burn would have yielded a dramatic image here, i feel. 6
