wow, what a great shot. i would have voted this a 9 if a couple of things were changed - i think the contrast could be a bit higher, and i would have cropped it along the bottom to make the pic less 'square'. but nice shot!

The pinks just look awesome against the dark water. The unique vantage point gives this lots of interest and the focus and exposure are very good IMO. I wish it somehow wasn't quite as centered, but then again I'm not sure if changing that would make the angle less appealing. (?) Anyway...one of my favorites in your portfolio.

Wow - not a fan of birds, esepecially flamingos, but you captured a unique and interesting perspective. Well done!

Well composed. Nice colors and contrast. Love the ripples and reflected trees(?) and how they frame the birds.

Great angle & composition. Lighting is a tad harsh, but I really like the shot.

Nice reflections and colors on the birds. Definately meets challenge. I'm just not all that crazy about the topside view on the birds. 6

Nice shot! I like the similar poses, hunkered-down in the rain, and the angle of the shot.

interesting perspective, but there feels to me an element missing here that if present would have added a lot of impact. can't put my fingers on it...6

'8' - Met the Challenge (in my opinion). This shot looks familiar, another great 'set' to take advantage of. Criticism; I would like to see this possibly a little darker, or more contrast. a slightly more 'offset' of the flamingos, yet still incorporating their 'reflections'. Just seems slightly grainy or out of focus, not sure, perhaps it is a close crop. A further zoom out, if possible, capturing more of the rain/raindrops may have made this a better shot in my opinion. They (flamingos) make such good subjects and are for me, always a delight to view.

I can't help wondering how you got this photo. I imagine you sneaking up behind them. Looks like you could stomp them from where you are. :)

What a wonderful shot. The natural symmetry is really captured perfectly. The clarity and color of the birds is spot on!! Maybe I'd crop it so they aren't so dead centered. Good job.
