This is the corner street in front and side of my house, about 10 P.M. About 3" of rain in less than an hour. Street was approx. 1.5 feet deep and rolling.
Shot with one hand, the other was holding an umbrella, only my feet & legs got wet.

Nice idea and pretty good composition. IMHO, the dark areas are too indeterminate and the brighter areas have a glare from the light. I think you could adjust the contrast, backlighting/exposure, and bump up the colors to improve upon it a bit.
It's nice to see some real rain in this rain challenge, congrats. For me this shot has nice composition & flow, from the rain streaking down past the light, slamming into the road, and rushing away in a torrent. The lighting is really nice.
