** Greetings from the Critique Club **

Good DOF and focus. Exposure levels seem to be right on. I really like the "stormy feeling" that the black-on-black creates, but the expression on the models face just does not convey the same feeling.
The composition would have been perfect had the fingers not been cropped off. Still, a really nice shot!

		| You got robbed. I found this shot much better than in the hundreds place. The whole mood works and I like the smeared makeup with the dark clothes and background. All well. Better luck next time! |

		| Very creative interpretation of personifying an image of rain. The grayish cast to her face makes her appear very stormy. I would say that especially as a work of fine art, you did a wonderful job. The one thing I didn't like was her smile. I would have probably just taken the shot without a smile. Takes away from the idea of stormy. |

I love the care free expression on the models face
Not sure I like the background so much but more good things than bad here |

		| I like the expression you've caught, feels carefree to me, nice emotive shot. |

		Almost surreal.

Her skin tones look really bizarre to me |

		| My first impression of this shot was that I didn't like it. Then I looked at it again and studied it. I've now come back to it 4 times. Each time I bump it up another notch. Once again, I find myself doing the same. Very emotive and "colorful" shot. I love the blacks and textures. 8 |

love the low-key darkness of this image. her positioning, however, is a bit akward. it might be her hand, or facial expression...i don't really know. i think it would have appealed more to me if you cropped out her hand entirely.
but all in all, a very cool image. good luck :-) |

		| Nice imagery, although the black on black effect of the clothes & background gives it a heavy or dark feel. It would also help to actually see rain instead of just wet. |

		| Fingers chopped off by edge of frame... this is rarely effective. |

		| Interesting. I guess her make up smudged in the rain??? Nice contrast and desat. The black on black works here. |
