"My precccious" (hehe, makes me think of that) My wonderful little brother, Jamie, again who'll do anything for a photo-- even sit in freezing water and get sprayed with a hose :-) (Anything for the picture!) I think it's cool looking but I'm not sure how rainy it looks. Oh well. :-)
Quote from my brother after seeing it first edited "It looks like I'm a poor kid who got thrown into a puddle...a REALLY...big...deep puddle"
Title from a Damien Rice song of the same name :)

What an unusual shot, I like the vantage point from above and the lack of detail in his face.

Interesting photo, one thing keeps drawing my attention though, it looks like the boy almost doesnt have any eyes?
Still I like the color/tones/and subject-- 7

Marvellous - I almost just hit a score and passed on, but this has real depth and soul to it I think. And it has mystery, and a grittiness that speaks of a real world, rather than the fantasy cleaned-up version we get round here so much. It prompts a raft of questions and wonderings - perhaps a raft the kid could have used right then?

The darkness in his eyes bothers me a bit. I think there's a bit too much burning happening here. The concept of the image is great and I love playing around in the rain myself. 5

This was a great idea. In my opinion -- for what it's worth -- there are 2 things that would improve the image. First, composition -- my eyes are drawn past the boy to the stumps or whatever they are behind him. Second, lighting -- the shadows are too harsh on his face and body. In advanced editing you could have used Highlights-Shadows adjustements, curves or a dodge and burn layer to get rid of some of the shadows. I hope this is helpful feedback.

Great shot. Had the face been a bit more visible, it would be a ribbon winner. Good luck!

Monsoon? It's a terrific, documentary-style image. Very powerful, even without eye contact with the subject. 7

I like the very wet feel to this shot. In retrospect, I think if the shot could have been taken near to the water level the effect of the splashing rain might be really interesting. Good work!
