not really sure what the subject is, but nice contrast

a bit busy - maybe could have isolated one feature ? Maybe even just the chain ? or some of the prop

This is what B&W photography is all about...I think. I like this a lot.

Sharp, good contrast and tonality.

Nice contrast and focus. The horizontal 'cut' across the entire photo is very distracting to me.

Although I don't care for the subject matter your photograph is technically perfect.
You followed the rule of thirds well. Your focus is dead on. Your zones are there. You included some great shadows and textures. You used shape very well.

Good capture, focus, etc. Some really good contrast and shadows. Nit - looks natural, but junky, hard to get excited about this subject.

This could be an awesome shot without the buckets. The anchor and propeller look awesome and take you somewhere not normally ventured, but the everyday paint buckets bring you back to reality and don't give the shot the uniqueness it deserves.

Perhaps if you'd gotten in close to the propeller and bit of chain, you'd have found an interesting image. Looks like there were some nice, long shadows you could have capitalized on, and certainly some great texture in the rusting metal and weathered concrete. The shipping container, oil barrels and bit of cable at top detract from a possibly interesting piece of work.

would have liked that prop closer - nice textures.

This subject id definitely photo-worthy! I don't particularly care for the castrol buckets in the background though... if i was making this photo, i would have made some feeble attempt to move those out of the way.. A little closer and a litlte tighter crop on this shot would have been a nice improvement as well :) Good job!

I feel as though the propellor and chain are great subjects for a photo, but the castrol cans and fence do nothing but compete with them for attention.

evokes a sense of decay
