This doesnt seem like it's black and white
06/09/2002 08:46:00 PM
that's a duotone, challenge was black and white
06/09/2002 04:45:00 PM
this looks like it was done in duotone-- i found that if you go by gordon's tutorial *but* lighten the green a few shades, it makes a more pleasing B&W. But I do like the stark contrasts you have here!

Pure black and white would have been better, this looks like a blurry image that was sharpened. great tone.

Why does this look green to me?
06/07/2002 08:19:00 AM
Interesting color- for a B&W

pretty shot. i wish it was a little lighter, though.

is the image supposed to have the green tint? For a black and white challenge ... it's not quite right ....

Interesting photo. The composition seems a little bit clumsy to me.

nice contrast, just doesn't grab me

Carries a green tint compared to all the rest.(not B&W)

Interesting photo. I like it. Nice job.

not exactly black and white

Perhaps you could have cropped out the ground at the bottom of the picture.

Is your subject the flowers? Why the wood thing in the front? Why the shade of green?

This seems to have a slight green tinge to it. Is it just my monitor? Good composition, used of ROT. Something a little more to hold my interest would've been nice.

Interesting shot.. I'm not sure if it's me or the image but I beleive there is a green tint to this photo... I have looked at it on two different systems with the same results... anyway... The composition is nice but i'm not quite impressed with the subject... it's a little 'busy'...
