Great shot if the dog. I would either crop out more if the couch on the right, or the lower right section.

I hate it when my dog used to look at me like that. You would have gotten a better affect if the dog was looking at the camera with that title. Flash is also a bit harsh. The shadow to the left of the dog and on the dog on the right are bad. The couch in the foreground and the plastic thing in the background are also quite distracting.

good dog!

I really like the expression on the dog, my only negative I have is the stuff (table, couch, plastic bag?) around the dog distracts from the overall picture.

Cool dog!

B&w works well here to tone down some of the things cluttering up the background, cleaning them up would be even better (less of a snapshot feel that way). And I know how convincing animals can be when you "abandon" them. I would be ready to call in sick if the dog looked more at me, and the snout was a little lighter.

Seems a bit uninspired. Why is the dogs head turned?

Good B/W (an all photography, really) is all about light, and the ugliest light known to man (except possibly flourescent) is, for some reason, built into most cameras. It's very hard and directional, which flattens textures, and casts horrid shadows nine times out of ten. You'd have been better off shooting in the available room light or finding a way to get more light without using the built-in flash. Compositionally, the dog is surrounded by distracting tables and chairs, and the plastic whatisit on the sofa caught some bad reflections.

Uncomfortable framing, plastic in background distracting.

Hehe...

Ahhhh, that's just what he's say too. How cute. Neat b&w. Good job.

This isn't much contrast here.

Great eye expression. Wish you'd give the dog's nose just a little more room in the photo.
