Challenge: Multi-Image Compositions (Classic Editing*)
Camera: Olympus C-2100UZ
Location: California
Date: Apr 21, 2003
Aperture: F8
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/250
Date Uploaded: Apr 27, 2003

Alisha loved the camera and it loved her. After putting the three photo's together I put a painterly effect over it to blend it together. This is the first time doing this type of photo and hope I did it right.

This was one of my top three picks for this challenge. I really like the feeling of a Monet painting. This image creative, has great color, texture and composition. It should have placed much higher.

looks like digital art and not photography

Neat series, lovely child. The watercolor filter is nicely applied here (never seen it used so well!). That said, the effect used takes this series much closer to good artwork and less like photos. The egdes of the images are very nicely blended.

PS filters may be getting blasted in the forums, but I really like how you've created mood with these images.

I really like this sequence, but the photography seems lost with the filters used. The moment is lessened, to me.

The effects applied here don't seem to serve a valuable function. I think they end up detracting from the shot a lot. 3

nice use of this technique, esp. with the green in the background. at first i thought that the combination would have benefitted from some borders in between the photos, but that would have been a pretty different shot because it appears that the overlapping parts are intentionally meshed into each other. cool.

The watercolor effect is very well done; I very much like the selection of colors and the image choice and placement. Kudos.

Excellent use of photos as a basis for creating art. I'm guessing you'll end up with a somewhat inverted bell curve, with a lot of votes at each end...personally I'd like to know how to do this as well as you have...

Should have blended the hair of the lower right shot into the uppper shots a little better. But very good anyway... I like the artistic effect.

Interesting effect - it is like the pictures almost blend into each other. Well done!

Beautiful girl, but I don't really care much for the effect used here. It takes away a lot of detail, and I'm a huge fan of detail. Each shot looks great of the girl, I just woud like to see this without the effect applied. I also really like the color combinations in this. Good luck in the challenge.

I like this alot. Your composition and cropping of the images is very nice. My only problem is the texture effect you added. They look too much like paintings. I would like to see this one without the PS effect. I still give you a 7.

Nice picture. I especially like the use of effects, not overdone. Very cute little girl.

Was this meant to have a watercolor effect? It looks reallly blury, but I can't tell if it was supposed to be that way. I think ti's adorable, and a gret capture of a very sweet little girl!

I dont think the effects work here. I understand the mood you are going ofr here, but, for myself, I do not like the digital touch-up.
