Challenge: Fantasy World (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 5700
Location: Nebraska
Date: Jun 19, 2005
Galleries: Nature, Rural
Date Uploaded: Jun 19, 2005

Adjusted hue to give the green leaves the purplish look, cropped, adjusted brightness and contrast slightly, used neatimage to soften just a tad resized added border and added the diffuse glow filter. I'm not sure what other people had in mind for this challenge and am anxious to see, should be rather interesting.

This is an okay photo but is overprocessed for my taste

Natural framing is good. Bridge angle and covered wood creates a tranquil scene.

Unfortunately, this is a good example of a perfectly good image being destroyed by an attempt to meet a challenge. Color is artificial and wrong, image has excessive noise and image general quality and clarity is very poor. All this will contribute to a very low score. Chalk this one up as a learning experience.

love the colour and the title of this but the film grain/noise is a distraction for me. IMHO i would have liked to see this as a more dreamy photo with some neat image to it to make it soft. but i think its an excellent photo. if i was a member i would vote this a 10 easy!
update:just became a member so i get to really give ya that 10!

Very cool! Foggy boarder might be a little over the top IMO.

I wondered if we'd see any bold selective desaturation and hue shifts like this. Personally I like it a lot. Has a very dreamy, graphic feel to it and the composition is very good. I know this effect takes more work than it looks like at first sight. For some it may not be "out of this world" enough, but I love it. Well done. 8
