This is "my kind" of image. The colors, the texture, the composition all feel right to me. Perhaps more contrast would have been in order.

Good contrast of color in the forground. I think the background color takes away from the forground subject matter, if it were darker I think this image would jump out at you more. 5

Great textures and interesting colours. In my opinion it seems a shame the top of the metal object has not been included. I still like the image though, good job.
