focal length 24.0mm

flowers (i forget what kind) with drying poppies and a smoke bomb thrown in for some extra goodness.

much post processing, involving dodge and burn, color adjustments, and a bit of cloning work. a wacom tablet was instrumental in this process.

Smoke bomb eh? ;^) Clever! Notice it didn't chase that fly (lower middle) off.

Yep. Looks like this lens works just fine, at least with the right photog behind the camera. ;^)

This shot really appeals to me. The color of the flowers and the texture appears to be watercolor or impressionistic..love the background colors fading to greens..just a wonderful picture.

This is a very nice photo. The colors and composition are terrific. The pods are a nice counterpoint to the full blooms. With all the smoke (?) I hope no flowers were injured or killed in the attempt (lol). I am struggling a bit to find the tie in to the theme but you're in good company since 80% of the photos struggled with this as well. So i don't think that will hurt your scores. Good luck inthe voting.
