Very fine, understated composition & processing treatment, which establishes the mystical quality I'm sure you were going for. Oddly enough, I think the title slightly detracts from the overall impact; it encourages the viewer to think more about how it was done rather than the "fantasy" theme. Maybe "Water World" would have been more surreal or fantastic. Anyway, so what? It is a successful & appealing photograph. Well done. 8 |

great composition, idea, and lighting but in my mind, a darker silhouette might have made it even more unreal... The person looks too much like someone from "our" world just strolling about... |

I like the concept of this image. And I agree on the use of grain for mood. On the other hand, even though the rule of thirds is applied correctly, the negative space is a lot larger than needed in my opinion, and combined with the totally blown out part on the right hand side it only serves as an escape route for the viewer's eyes. |

i like the mist. i wonder if the subject could somehow be dressed differently or something to give them more of an other world feel. 7 |

Great use of negative space. I like the b&w conversion, and the grain works. 6 |

minor point - I know he is standing on a rock or something and just placing his foot out in front of him. His Torso needs to be forward as well as if he were actually walking - not just placing a foot for the photo. Maybe a time elapsed photo of his leg swinging through the range of motion. I am not sure since I was not there but great photo none the less. |
