you've captured the location well. i'm not sure it would be a better picture, but i'd like to see one without the foreground, just the trees, mist, and windmills. 8

Interesting one, this. So very nearly a classic but there are a few things that get in the way of that. In a dreamy image like this the inclusion of a dull foreground really distracts. While the slope may have been there in actuality, it does make the photo look odd. Can I make an alternative suggestion? Crop away all the foreground (except for the trees) and try to increase some of the contrast/sharpness in the top half. Good luck

The fog with the wind generators is the main strength of the image and the connection to the challenge theme. Most voters will make the connection. The trees silhouetted against the fog is also super nice.

Most of the really interesting elements are tiny in the frame. Zooming in or cropping out a lot of the image would make the composition stronger. You could crop from just below the fence posts to the left of the trees upward and righ to just above the dark bank of clouds. This will include everything interesting and get rid of the rest that is repetative and less intersting. You might consider making this B&W.

Parallels between the windmills and the posts in the forground tie the picture together. I'm not sure if I like the angle of the photo. 5

This is a great shot. It might have been more "other worldly" if you had only included the fog and the 'windmill" things. However, great shot!

It could be a very interesting photo had you framed/cropped it differently. I would get rid of theunappealing foreground, and just leave the trees and "floating" windmills

Consider recropping the image -- perhaps a vertical with the central focus on the clump of trees

Could use a little straightening

Very unsettling image - an ancient dam and a wind farm? straighten the horisonand maybe remove some from the bottom? I love the wierdness, the confusion between old and new, the island of windmils neither on land, at sea or in the sky. very captivating scene.

I really like the idea of this shot. The foggy ridge with wind generators is other worldly. The trees in the middle ground against the fog are great. I gave it a good score but would have given it a couple of more points if you had straightened the horizon and eliminated most of the foreground hill. I doubt this would have been easy in post processing but if you had shot a few other angles and positions, it might have been possible. Great photo. I hope it does well in the voting.

would i have been posible for you get closer to the vally and recompose in order to cut the foreground so you almost have the wind turbines floating in space? that would make a really cool photo imo.
