 Taken with Canon SD200 at work, in the technical
room (Hospital) where they produce heat.

I called it "Cold Metal", because the word metal
gives me always a cold feeling.

Adjusted with Photoshop -> light cropping, shadow/highlight, contrast, noise filtering, unsharp mask en color tone/saturation.

So is it taken with the D70 or the SD200????? Your comment in the "photographer's comments" contradicts the photograph information.

This looks so nice! Beautiful presentation ... just beautiful! I like the industrialized centering. Some who blindly believe centering is ALWAYS bad might chime in here. But I feel a picture crops itself by its elements. You alowed all components an equal voice here, as should have been. 9.

we all know its a "metal" challenge, why not just say "Cold", it gives it a seperate perspective, and makes the titleing much stronger.

Nice comp, great lighting, b&w's good, great lines, great balance, blue filter works, overall very nice.

Wow. Very shiny. :) The textures in this image work well. The smooth against the mottled background is great! The balance in this composition is excellent - good crop. Focus, DOf, POV all well done. 9 - good luck in the challenge!

REALLY NICE!!! Sorry I'm shouting...but it's good to see a really well done image...my eyes were starting to throb and up pops this beauty...beautiful light and I also like the blue cast...definietly one of my favs so far...thank you for this little bit of relief. : )

really love the blue hue of this photo and the way it works with the silvers and blacks. It does exude a COLD feeling. Definitly one of my favorites.
