Greetings fromt the Critique Club
Hi Ms. Nasti!
Composition
The composition on this shot is superb. I have two minor gripes - the flower that is laying down and the sliver of yellow in the ULC.
Color
These colors are beautiful. I wish I could get my camera to come up with anything NEAR this. The saturation at that shutter speed is superb. I love the contrasts of the white and yellow on the greenery surrounding it.
Focus
The focus on this shot bugs me a bit. It's hard because my eyes see the petals and flowers as focused and all of the green out of focus. At this aperature, I'm surprised that this much of the flower is in focus, but I like the strangeness of the focus here.
Subject matter
Well, the subject was flora and you shot outdoor flowers - can't beat that! :) I am also wondering about these tulips - I haven't seen flowers like this before.
Overall
Overall you got a 6.3! What do you want me to say!? haha
Ok seriously - with the exception of those two minor compositional things, all is beautiful here. |

| Strange tulips. The ones around here have wider petals. Curious to know where these are from. The yellow/green combo is really nice. I like how you have blurred the background, and it is not distracting. The angle and framing/cropping is nice too. Lighting on the subject looks really nice. Rreally helps to bring out the colors. | Beautiful tulips, I think I would like to see the middle tulip turned more like the others,then they will lead in and flow from the bottom corner out the top of the photo, or leave it out, it divides the photo. Play around with this shot, you are on the right track. Your colors are wonderful. |

| These little "native" tulips are so cute and so wild.You capture their essence of gentle wildness well with all of the angles and lines. I love how you've cropped the upper tulip. It gives a sense that you couldn't quite capture ALL of their wildness: like giddy children who cannot sit still. Were these in sharp focus, the feelings here would be even more enhanced. Nice work. |

| Nice lighitng and color patterns. These are different types of tulips than in other images, which is refreshing. |

| Stunning colours and contrast, would have benefited from 1/3rd cropped off the top in my view. |
