I assume you're talking about fishing by the title...the inclusion of water could've helped a lot.

I might even get rid of the hook myself. I decided I like casting a lot more than Iike fishing.

The focus and lighting on this picture is great! What would have made it better for me, and I understand that you may have had not control over this, is to have the man facing the other way. The way he is going looks like he is walking out of the picture, and has no where to go.

Incredible scenery. Love the toothpick in his mouth and the look he's giving you...

Need to see a little more of the fisherman and less of the terrain.

Mostly great! I think I would have preferred the man facing the sign, but that is a nit. An interesting face, might have been nice to see more of it. Sparce background, no downgrade, just a comment.

The message I get from this is that this person is against what is on that board. If so I'd need more information as to why. I think if your model was to turn around or at least go on the other side of the board and continue to look left I would have felt better about this photo. Also the lack of water in the photo with a guy wearing a fishing vest is upsetting.

Great job on this photo -- you've really put us in the atmosphere without beating us over the head with it. I also really like that he's walking out of the frame.

I love this view... good shot!

The sign detracts from this image, and draws attention away from the main subject. Just the man in front of the fence or the gate would have been far better, IMO

Reallly like the colors in this shot.

Kinda funny fishing with no water :) Something about your subject having his back to the sign which doesn't sit right with me. Having him face the other way would make it feel more like the sign was incorporated as part of the photo, and probably shed a bit more light on his face at the same time.

Hope you either ran fast after taking this picture or asked very politely before you took the picture. He looks like he could have a nasty temper.
