I did 8 different versions of this one of Photodraw, and I liked this lighting and crop the best, I had to blow-out the background slightly to get rid of the wrinkles in the sheet, (crappy backdrop medium). My mom was the model for this photo, and those are a small fraction of her shoe collection. I Hope You like it,

Thanks in advance to all who commented and voted,

* Greetings from the Critique Club *

You really did capture an intangible decision exquisitely. The pose of the feet are perfect to create the scenario of indecision. The composition is terrific - I like the way the shot is cropped. The lighting, however, is a little harsh (too bright). I think you could reduce some of the backlighting and play with the contrast a little more to really bring out more detail and a warmer glow to the overall scene.

I also think you could get a little more pizzazz out of the colors represented by adjusting the saturation. If you're going for a muted color shot, then I still think this is true. The colors are a bit washed out by the lighting, so the combination of working on the lighting & the colors (IMHO) could make the shot even more powerful.

You really did a beautiful job with this setup. Again, you created an immediate sense of what was going on in the scene. That alone is something to be very proud of. It's not easy to evoke emotions from your viewer so quickly. Great job!

Just my 2 cents...

You captured a cliched decision incredibly well. This should get a high score.

I really like this picture, even outside of the context of the contest, but with the way the feet are placed it just goes perfectly with that 'which should i pick' type of thing.

What to wear, what to wear? Definitely depicts a decision.

Would have been a more obvious choice with one foot slipping into a shoe.

Such a beautiful shot! I love the lighting and the colors. The composition also works very well, with the legs/feet to the right. One of my favs in the challenge!

I love how you implied a decision in this picture. Personally, it would have been nice with a greater variety of shoes (color maybe?). Anyways, love the picture!

I love the stance of her feet. I thought there would be more "shoe choice" photos in this challenge. Very humorous. The photo seems a little bright, but I like the effect.

It's kind of 'in between', still making up your mind, the decission yet to make. Like it. 7

No title needed here. The story is all told by the posture of the feet. A simply well crafted presentation here. The highkey approach gives this an almost "Graduate" look. One of my top ten picks for this challenge.

Nice concept. The crop on the foot to the right is a little awkward.
