Composition - Very well done! This is an interesting take on the wind results, not to mention creative. I really think you did a great job framing this shot. The detail is incredible. I don't have much to say about this except that it is exceptionally well done.
Technical - The f/11 really did you well here by making the flash not so bright and the DOF great enough to keep the seeds and the base in perfect focus. I can't believe you used flash, I'm assuming it was indirect. This is just an awesome shot. This one is all about the skill of the photographer, and not just being in the right place at the right time (like me :) !!). Very well done!
Overall - Well this is just more of my singing your praises on this shot. I don't have much to add. What I would've done different is gotten something terribly out of focus and part of it would be too dark. So its good that you took this and not me. Congrats on a fantastic shot. This could win a ribbon any given week, you just went up against some quality shots. Good luck in the future - Inspzil |

| not really seeing the wind in this image. a very gentle breeze could effect this subject. Interesting but not fully in the frame and that distracts I do like the right side good detail and lighting on the green round part as well as some of the stems that are coming down. Light blown out of out of focus parts in background and that distracts because your eyes are drawn to light and automatically go tot he lightest part of the image...in this case out of focus. |

| Great idea! Even better would be to catch one of those seeds flying in the air. The clarity and focus are fantastic. That one seed to the right really brings it home, it looks like its just about to blow away. Great work! |

| great macro. Bit of a stretch on the "fits the challenge" portion of the program, but I still really like the shot. Composition is nice with the bit of negative space to the left, and that one lone seed hanging precariously from the side of the dandelion. Lots of great detail. |

| Very nice macro shot..I'll have to give you that. The lighting is perfect and there is great detail and focus. It's a magnificant shot, however, I don't see the effects of weather here. Now, if perhaps, you could have gotten lucky and photographed one of the "puffs" being blowen off by the wind, then yes, you would have met the challenge. |
