b&w seems out of place here, but i'm not sure i'd be fond of the composition even if it was in color. Too much stuff in the background. |

Never seen the game before, but a good B&W none the less. Very nice composition. |

WISH this had been in color. That's one of the nice things about that game! |

The pieces are cute, but the busy bg detracts, particularly at the top. Don't know if this is the best image for B/W, as the contrast between the pieces isn't that strong, and you don't have many textures here. |

Background is a little distracting. I keep wondering where you are. |

The blur of the background in this shot is helping but I think I would like to see more of the game board in this photo as well. It appears that there is a little too much light on the gameboard too... |

Whats in the background? I would like to see some more of the game board. |

A lower angle would have helped with that background, but your use of limited depth of field did help in this aspect. |

Did you try to shoot this from a different angle? Maybe from a little higher where we could see what is on the board too, as is it kinda looks like you got a couple of cookie cutters standing up on a strange table cloth. Also the clutter in the background distracts. |

A lot of glare on this photo |

The B&W doesn't work here with me. The pieces don't really jump out at me, even with the small DOF you've used. |

B&w works well here. Things that I would try and change for this kind of planned shot: slightly higer angle to get rid of the reflection on the game board (even though I really like the heads-on angle, and wouldn't like to loose that - just something inbetween this and top-down). Clean up background (a black piece of cardboard placed at a little distance from the subject can easily do the trick). Although, your background is sufficiently out of focus to not be too distracting. |

Strangely frightening lol. It has a certain tone about it that really makes it more interesting. - 7 |

Cute, but try a backdrop and some back lighting to increase contrast. |

Candy land has such great colors, why go B&W? Background is a bit busy. |

Background too cluttered. |

The background is distracting. You can't make out the lines on the lighter piece. There is too much glare on the board so it just looks distracting rather then adding anything to the picture. I also question your choice of B&W with a very colorful childs game. |

Candyland to me should be bright and cheerful with it's pastel colors, not b&w. sorry, that and the hot spots take away from the photo for me. |

Nice DOF, thougha better angle including the board would've been better. |

This picture feels to dark and gloomy to be candyland. Maybe if you would have got more of the gameboard with the little men. Just a thought. :) |

I like the idea, but why black and white? Gray candy is not that fun... |

this would have been nice if that stuff wasn't in the background and the game board didnt have such a harsh glare on it. |
