Greetings from the Critique Club
By Inspzil

Composition - I don't have the first clue what you were shooting. I'd like to say it meets the challenge, but I don't know if it meets any challenge aside from abstract. This is a tough one to critique. My first suggestion would be to put clone some of the color from the top right corner and cover the whole image with that color and have some kind of fun abstract from it. Personally, I don't see anything in this image that is worth saving.

Technical - N/A

Overall - I'm not surprised one bit that this finished dead last. I can't find a single redeemable quality about it except that its a very small file and my dialup connection could load it very quickly. Go back to the drawing board and start again. I would like to know what this supposed to be a picture of though. Good luck in future challenges. I think from here, the only way to go is up!! - Inspzil

Sorry - but this abstract does nothing for me.
04/20/2003 07:24:21 PM
Not totally sure what we got here, but looks like a part of a rainbow.
04/20/2003 05:13:55 PM
I don't get it. What is it?
04/20/2003 09:43:04 AM
very minimalistic i like it
04/18/2003 10:09:53 PM
not sure what you meant here...

Gosh I try to say something nice about every picture....I see so little opportunity for praise, how about Lots of negative space.... I honestly don't know what you were going for. I see a heavily pixelated rainbow in the upper right corner and the rest is a pleasant shade of gray. As much as I like gray, I cannot offer this photo any sort of good score. I've never scored below a 3.....(but I feel almost forced to do so). 3 Rob the Swash (please explain this to me...my brain hurts)

Ummm---looks like a shot of a white wall zoomed all the way in to get the pixels huge. Basically, I don't see anything here. If you send me a PM telling me what it is, I'll up your score.
04/17/2003 03:30:56 PM
I'm afraid you lost me on this one... :(
04/17/2003 02:56:31 AM
What happen to your pic.

04/16/2003 02:20:43 PM
Not much to see here. Congrats on last place.

Arachnophilia? Is that you?
04/16/2003 06:45:37 AM
This is by far the bet picture in the challenge...not.
04/15/2003 04:47:24 PM
Don't shoot directly into the sun - it'll fry ur camera! :) Or is that just really really thick fog? I'll give it a solid 1.

dank you, come again!

What does Mr. Horse have to say - "No sir I don't like it."
- Not a Ren and Stimpy fan?
04/15/2003 12:53:44 PM
This is a very refreshing change after looking at everything else. Of course, it is also very little. I'd imagine these pixels as part of a series perhaps, for interest and increased credibility?
04/15/2003 12:55:20 AM
It's way to abstract, and I like abstract more then most (here anyway). I'll be very interested to see how this does. I'd give this a 6. But I bet the overall will be much lower.
04/15/2003 12:15:38 AM
I don't get it.
04/14/2003 10:55:04 PM
hmmm, a very brave, unique and interesting photo. 3 md

Ummm, what is it exactly? Bad weather perhaps? It must be such bad weather I can't really make it out.
04/14/2003 10:30:33 AM
nice job
04/14/2003 07:46:08 AM
I think I might have missed something here. Was this how this shot was suppoed to turn out?
04/14/2003 06:42:03 AM
Rothko-esque. :-) I like this, as an image. Not sure it meets my personal criteria of 'photograph', perhaps. Maybe it's Burt Reynolds finally coming round?
04/14/2003 05:21:41 AM
I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to show here, but it's especially uninteresting. Add to that bad compression artifacts and you get a low score.. Better luck next time!
04/14/2003 02:32:16 AM
Ummm...I'm not really sure what this is...or how it was done.
