Shot one of my old photos displayed on a computer screen through a short plastic pipe and a metal grid (actually, a CD rack). The pipe is transparent, but at small incident angles its inner surface works as a mirror. Ideally, I wish the pipe was a bit longer for a better perspective.

I know this is not exactly a "Tunnel vision" in a strict medical sense of the term, and it is not what I regularly see in my dreams nowadays, but I think I did see something like that when I was a child - something colourful, bright and happy, but with a touch of trouble lurking around

p/p: converted from RAW with small adjustments of brightness and contrast, cropped, smudged the seam in the pipe, cloned out a couple of dirt specks on the pipe surface, run through NeatImage, resized.

This is way underrated - I gave it a 9, and would've expected a top-ten finish.

This is an interesting abstract. I like the feel of the image, but I would have preferred a slightly less cluttered view of the outside. Did the blur come from the light being distorted by the tunnel, or was the picture taped to the end of the tube while the camera was rotated? I like the effect, but I think that (if the latter procedure mentioned above were used) moving the camera forward with the image taped onto the tube may have resulted an a more interesting 'moving yet staying still' feeling.

A very neat idea. If anything the change from blurry to sharp is too sudden. Maybe you could have panned the camera too? I dunno 'cos I don't know exactly how you've done this!
Love the colours and the blurry bit. Less keen on the center. Would love to see more experiments like this though.

Interesting view, the greens and yellows of the leafes is a bit washed out exposure wise. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it more a bit more exposure compensation and to play with curves and shadow recovery a bit (if not already done that way).
Despite that, I like that idea. 7

Great concept, but would have greater impact in my opinion without the black grid over the opening.
