This was one of my favorites during voting, I just love the colors and shapes in it, very nicely done! 23rd place out of 485 is nothing to scoff at either, congrats!

wow, the rose is quite capivating... the only minus is the blurriness of the bottum pedals... sometimes that cant be helped tho, as i have entered shots with a little blur in them... nice shot...

I'd like to know how you set up this composition. Really top notch with the subtle shades in the background. I think this succeeds in where so many others have failed in that the negative space is actually complementary to the subject. The rose is a bit large relative to the size of the photograph, but there is an elegant simplicity here that lends itself for this challenge. 10

Very beautiful! The rose pedals seem a little out of place... like they do not go with the leaves... however, I scored it a 9. I love the colors and contrast. Great job!
